EPIC Coalition seeks to open doors by advocating for greater investments and fair funding for all types of schools and eliminating barriers so that every child has an opportunity to succeed.

 

Protecting Religious Freedoms for Families: 

EPIC Coalition advocates for the protection of religious freedom and parental rights by supporting policies that ensure families are not discriminated against based on their religion. We believe every family should have the freedom to choose their child’s educational environment—including faith-based schools—that align with their values and offer increased opportunities for their children. These efforts aim to empower parents, respect diverse beliefs, and provide a massive benefit to historically marginalized communities.

 

Strengthening Security for Religious Schools:

Every child deserves to learn in a safe environment, and no parent should be worried about their children’s safety when they send them off to school. EPIC Coalition supports funding for increased security measures, including to address threats faced by some religious schools due to rising hate.

 

Enhancing STEM Initiatives Across Schools:

EPIC Coalition promotes STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) initiatives that expand education options through collaboration between public and nonpublic schools and more efficient deployment of resources. These programs are crucial in addressing the shortage of qualified STEM teachers and expanding STEM education access and opportunities for students and educators. 

 

Advocating for Students with Special Needs:

We support fair funding and resources that enable inclusive education opportunities so that all students, including those with special needs, can receive the support and services to thrive at any school that meets their needs.

 

Fostering Collaboration:

EPIC Coalition brings families, students, educators, schools, advocates, policymakers, and community members together in support of fair and diverse educational opportunities that benefit and reflect the needs and values of all.
